THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

Characterized by the rapid increase of factory manufacture, technological development, and machinery invention, the Industrial Revolution takes place between the years 1760-1850. Beginning in Great Britain and quickly spreading to other countries around the world including the United States, the Industrial Revolution plays a chief role in the introduction of drawing in American schools.
